This ultra-compact LGA module, 8 x 8 x 1 mm, is based on the ultra-low power nRF52833 chip that offers a multi-protocol radio and high temperature operation.

Module Description

This module offers further options for devices based on the Nordic Semiconductor nRF52 series semiconductors. The -HT variant offers additional features compared with the ISP1507-AX; these include higher temperature operation (up to 105 degrees), a USB port, and a doubling of the RAM to 128kB. It is particularly suited to lighting applications, or others with a harsh environment.

The -LL is a low cost variant; it shares the same core processor and temperature range of operation, but has reduced memory and GPIOs, and is targeted at simpler applications

Module Variants

This last generation BLE module by InsightSIP will be deployed in 2 variants to support standard or baseline applications requiring Bluetooth 5.1 standard for Long Range and Direction Finding connectivity. At 8 x 8 x 1 mm, ISP1907 series provide huge computing capability coupled with best-in-class battery life, with power consumption around 20-50% lower than previous generations of technology, making this Bluetooth Low Energy / BLE module a ready to use solution for most of IOT applications.

Fully qualified stacks for nRF52 are implemented in the S112 SoftDevices and allow for multiprotocol capabilities including Bluetooth 5, Bluetooth mesh, Thread, Zigbee, 802.15.4, ANT and 2.4 GHz proprietary stacks.

Development Tools

In order to assist clients in developing their Bluetooth Smart solutions based on the ISP1907, Insight SIP offers Test Boards, proposed as stand alone PCBs, or included in Evaluation Boards which provide full hardware and software development environment. Used as stand alone solution, Test Boards also offer test points for all IOs and can be used in conjunction with Nordic Development kits and external J-Link programmers.
