Module Variants

This miniature BLE module by InsightSIP is deployed to support sophisticate or baseline applications requiring Bluetooth 5 without Long Range connectivity. At 8 x 8 x 1 mm, ISP1507 series provide huge computing capability coupled with best-in-class battery life, with power consumption around 20-50% lower than previous generations of technology, making this Bluetooth Low Energy / BLE module a ready to use solution for most of IOT (Internet of Things) applications.

Fully qualified BLE stacks for nRF52 are implemented in the S112/S113/S132 SoftDevices which can be freely downloaded. ISP1507 can then be used in Central, Peripheral or both roles for BLE and for both ends of other proprietary protocols. nRF52 platform also provides extensive software support for ANT applications with S212 SoftDevices and dual ANT/BLE stack S332 SoftDevices.

Development Tools

In order to assist clients in developing their Bluetooth Smart solutions based on the ISP1507, Insight SIP offers Test Boards, proposed as stand alone PCBs, or included in Evaluation Boards which provide full hardware and software development environment. Used as stand alone solution, Test Boards also offer test points for all IOs and can be used in conjunction with Nordic Development kits and external J-Link programmers.

BLE Application works directly out of the box. The kit includes interface board, module and cables. Connect all and plug the USB cable into PC. Download tools and SDK, then load ready-compiled application. Connect phone using nRF tool box application. Data is sent from module to phone in real time. It's easy, it's quick to create your own application, just add your sensors and firmware !
