Current measurement ISP1507

Question: How can I measure current of the ISP1507 module ?

 
Answer: The current values in our ISP1507 datasheet are relative to the Nordic chipset values. For the measurement, you have to take in consideration the same measurements conditions as Nordic, I mean: same voltage, with or without DCDC converter, Low voltage mode or not ... The measurement with the oscilloscope will give you limitation for low currents measurement and it will not be accurate for currents in the order of the few micro Amp (µA). To have a real measure of the current, please follow the method described in our Application Note attached to this email. It will describe the capacitor measurement method to overcomes low currents limitation of oscilloscope measurement and to obtain more accurate measurements.This method is based on the principle of charging calibrated capacitor.
