Insight SiP has designed a full range of BLE standard products including modules and sensors, as well as corresponding development kits. All these modules are perfectly suited for devices requiring low cost and low power wireless connectivity. They are designed in accordance with the Bluetooth Smart (low energy) specification contained within v4.2 of the overall Bluetooth specification.

Our modules are based on Bluetooth Low Energy chip from Nordic Semiconductor. Our latest module is as small as 8.0 x 8.0 x 1.0 mm. All modules integrate the antenna, the RF matching circuit, all decoupling and load capacitors plus the 16 MHz crystal oscillator. They work as a complete bi-directional transmitter/receiver. As our modules have several end applications, the antenna was designed to be compatible with several ground plane sizes such as USB dongle or cell phone. It illustrates Insight SiP’s expertise in RF & Front End miniaturization and antenna integration.

The modules are specifically designed for both PC and smart phone peripherals and ultra-low power applications such as sports and wellness sensors. Ultra low power consumption and advanced power management enables battery lifetimes up to several years on a coin cell battery.
